Meet the Cows
Isadora is the newest addition to the Daya family. She is a Jersey-Dexter mixed breed who is shy with people but warms up after a treat or two. She came to us in need of a good home when her owner could no longer take care of her.
Keshav was born on February 4, 2018 at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram. He is a lively little steer who likes to explore the open pasture searching for delicious treats to graze. He is very affectionate and loves his mother Matilda and Aunti Surabhi.
Matilda is our “Diva”. She gives lots of delicious creamy milk and is very passionate about whatever she does-eating hay, licking little Keshav or just scratching an itch.
Surabhi is the name for the wish-fulfilling cow in Hindu mythology. She is a very sweet and intelligent cow whose favorite treat is apples.
Sponsor a Cow
Daya Dairy is currently taking steps to be able to offer donors the ability to make tax-deductible donations. At this time, however, we are at a critical beginning stage when all donations, though not tax-deductible, are nonetheless deeply appreciated as we set up necessary infrastructure. If you are feeling moved to support the cows at this important moment here is how to do it:
Send a check made out to Amanda Geroy to 421 Geronimo Ln., Taos, NM 87571. Specify the name of the cow that you would like to sponsor and please include your email address and postal address. You will receive a receipt, thank you letter and certificate of sponsorship in the mail and monthly updates on your cow by email.
Make a one-time or recurring monthly or yearly donation and sponsor in any amount you would like!
Thank you for your interest!
